Does tunebite 7 unlocks m4v format and convert them into mpg with a good quality?
hi there, I have buy all seasons of How I Meet Your Mother? But I am getting tired to watch them on my tv by plugging my computer on it with a hdmi cable.
I have a ps3 that could play .avi or .mpg format, I am looking for a program that can transform my itunes videos into a DVD format such as .avi or .mpg
By searching for like two weeks on google I found tunebite 7 promises to unlock the DRM(itunes protector) and convert them into mpg
the program costs around 40bucks, before I am proceeding to pay this amount of money, I am wondering if someone else has try tunebite 7 and actually works?
are the .mpg videos good quality after the formatting? does it worth the 40 bucks? or if you know a software that could do this job better, please let me know. any information is valuable.
thanks before hand for your help. have a good one
yeah, tunebite works.
Real World MPG on a 91 Camaro RS 5.0 V8?
Im looking to buy a Camaro but im afraid I'll spend way too much on gas. I've been researching this for days and all I can come up with is 15 mpg estimated. But now I come across this 'Real World MPG' and finding out it may come out to even less. I plan on using it as a daily driver, but not if I end up using a half tank of gas to get to school and back. I do end up driving on the highway alot due to the fact that the community college is right off the high way and so is my job, but if anyone has a camaro or knows someone with one with the 5.0 V8 and knows about about this "real world mpg" i'd like some adive ASAP before someone else gets there hands on this car.
gets 15-18 MPG had a 5.7 GTA that was a little less but great car
Why is Obama so eager to hand out money to the auto industry?
I understand the concerns about bailing out the auto industry. I get it that millions will loose their jobs if nothing is done-that unemployment could easily rise above 9%. This being said, if we have to just hand the gig three 50 billion dollars, why aren't some shrewd deals with incentives being made. Deals like:

1. The money would have to paid back with minimal interest over a ten year span, otherwise a higher default rate of interest would apply.

2. Restructure and reduce corporate pay scale/benefits/stock options by a minimum of 35%.

3. Eliminate all current union deals. No exceptions. You start making exceptions for one thing and the union floodgates will pour.

4. Lower interest rate/ loan payback for building and placing more fuel efficient vehicles. Very rough Example. If GM were to place 30,000 50 mpg with consumers, there interest rate would go from 2.5% to 2%. If they were to place 60,000 65 mpg vehicles their interest rate would drop to 1.5%.

Obama wants to give the big three 50 billion. Fine. I don't like, and I don't agree with it. But, I can live with it if there were some parameters, and incentives for future developments. If a savy enough deal were to made, it could even be an opportunity. You want to just hand them 50 billion dollars? Fine. Let's bend them over and get something for that money. Make an example out of them for future companies that pull the same thing.
He's thinking of the
.
1,300,000 people that will be effected if just one of them shut down
.
And hopefully make the auto industry make more than just the automobile cause they can't do that too good
.
Look at what Honda makes and Yamaha makes in total
Along with all of the importers of automobiles
.
I'm driving a 76 maverick that was handed down by my great grandma when she died but i need to sell but i cant
my parents said that since it was a gift...i shouldnt sell it but im having to constantly pour money into it to fix it...i need a job but i also need a new car because its forcing me to spend tons of money on it..not to mention the 15 mpg it gets...costing me roughly 45 bucks a week to fill up and thats just going to school!!
The car's paid for, take that into consideration.

Is the gas mileage difference for a 4 banger worth the additional car payment? Insurance? Car Registration?

In the end, the car's yours, not your parents. You can do what YOU want with it. Do you still have all the shirts you were given as gifts? If they no longer fit or are worn out, you need to discard them and get something that fits you better. Have your parents buy it from you to keep it in the family if they're THAT strong about it. If you need to remember your great grandmother, take a picture.
Your opinion about asian indians?
i am one and would like to know what the rest of the world thinks about us. there are some things to be proud about being an indian, and some times I feel embarrassed.
for example, i feel proud because we are hard working and take the job assigned seriously. we tend to live within our means and don't indulge in lavish lifestyles. most important of all, we don't drive those big *** 10 mpg SUVs just to show off..
on the other hand i feel embarrassed when i see people 'dying' to immigrate to developed nations. settling down abroad is a matter of pride and status.. and looks very hollow to me. guys in software that fake their resumes, that pisses me off... and of course bollywood movies.. they embarrass me to the core

so what you other people around the world have to say about us.
I admire Indians here in the US for these reasons:

Hard working
Polite
Beautiful dresses (women)
Educated (both academically and manners wise)
Humble (as in not showing off)
Seem peaceful (but then they are at war with Pakistan every day so I don't know)
Women: soo beautiful because of their dark shiny eyes and lustrous hair, slender yet well-endowed, nice round hips, round thighs (not like so much their feet, though which I tend to admire in Asian women) ; Indian women can be hairy which call me crazy, I find very sexy!

What I don't like about some Indians here:

guys: anonymously dressed especially those in the high tech industry all dressed with chopped off sleeve shirts with grid pattern, tie and mustache and kaki pants and identification card attached to their pants. They go to parties etc with company t-shirt with hight ech logos

They are cheap.

Some don't care that the Strong smell of curry inundates other houses...

They only drive Nissan Altima and Camrys which are immensely boring cars until they upgrade to LExus (same thing)

They can't drive in parking lots.

I am not sure it's good for them to be arranged in marriages.

They put their families and guys and their education above everything else, which is nice but also lacks creativity, it's all about success and money. Boooring.
What to do with my life?
i have applied for a job every where you can think of. noone has called me or left me a message. that made me depressed. but on the other hand i have a yard to mow every week for 30 dollars and i usally put all that in gas money , so i make about 30 bucks a week with a truck that get bout 7 or 8 mpg. but i think i wanna sell fire wood over the winter and so how can i find trees to cut up for free i live in west virginia so it shouldnt be hard i just got to learn how to approch it. but when i get out of school i wanna drive trucks but here you have to be 21 to get your cdls unfortunatly i have to leave the house when i am 18, but i also would like to build but i also dont know how to approch that job. and get hired
These are the options I could think of...

1) Sometimes not getting a response from the company you applied is simply because your resume did not look attractive to the HR person. I suggest to use computer to find local organization or group of people that helps job seekers to write resume in the way that employers get interested in you. I think if you type in " ( name of your town ) , WV, (free), resume writing help " or similar words on search engine, I believe you will get quite a few results. In the same way, I typed "WV job service" on google search and the list of job search websites came up. I pasted the page below. I hope some of them can help...

2) You live in WV. If you live in eastern part of it, may be you want to investigate if it's worth coming to Pittsburgh, PA to find a job when you turn 18. This is a pretty busy, high energy city.

3) Sounds like you don't mind to work hard, and willing to learn. My husband is just like that, and what he decided to do 6 month after graduating high school was to join U.S. Navy. He says it was not easy to work in a military physically and mentally, but he experienced what he could never have if he wasn't in Navy. He went to so many countries with Navy ships and experienced and observed unbelievable things. Additionally, he says, Navy trained him and all the sailors for the job really well. (same as all other branches ) He paid in for GI bill while he was in active duty, and after he got out, he used the GI bill to get a degree in college. I just wanted to share what my husband has been telling me. Oh, I almost forgot. There is construction job within Navy. One of his friends is there. However, please use common the sense and know that joining in military is not simply a job to get paychecks through, but to serve a country, sometimes with ultimate risk, as you may know.

Good luck!!
Should my boyfriend have to pay for gas money for me to visit him?
So my boyfriend lives about 20 minutes away from me. We're both in high school, and I've had my license since October but he doesn't have his yet. We've been dating for over a year and a half, so since October I've been driving my car (which only gets 15 mpg) to his house 1-3 times a week. I don't and have never had a job because of my rigorous course schedule and after school activities. However, he has never given me any gas money. I've spent all the money I had on paying for gas to go see him. He rarely comes to my house because he likes going to his house better. I've asked him a few times to give me a hand in being able to pay for this because my parents have been getting annoyed since gas prices have gotten super high. But he won't help. What should Ido? Do you think he should help pay so that we can see each other? I think it's only fair for both of us to contribute so that we can see one another.
Gee why does the word "superficial" keeping popping up here?

First, how far away is he? less than 5 miles? Easy answer, he can get a bike and pedal to see you, that is of course if your worth it to him!

I suppose you could get a bike but I can tell you will not entertain that idea, cash in hand is what you want.

Well, if he's farther than 5 miles or beyond that distance is not worth it for him...then the status quo trumps!

He becomes geographically undesirable.

Move on Kylie and this time date a guy with a car.

Kylie, it sounds like you really like him, if so the question remains: "Is he worth it?"

For example: Does he have the money and just refuses to part with it? Not good, move on.

If he flat out doesn't have any - you might be attempting to bleed a rock and therefore the question is: Is he worth it?"
Ford Explorer 1997?
Hi all This really is an exceptional vehicle. I get 30 mpg just under on a long haul.

I bought her 6 months ago really very cheap and I realised I would have work which I was more than prepared to do.

I done all the jobs. Now I find just two problems, a very slight streering wander( have change shocks back and front and bushes abd track ends). Some say its normally and Ford have told me its OK but I feel it should not do that.

Also fromt the fornt drivers side wheel, (she is Right hand drive) there is a rub rub rub sould which is more pronouce when at crawing speed. Again Ford have checked it and found nothing bearings are OK and it only the noise that is the problem as I have just done a 2000 miles round trip at an average of around 70 mph,

The noise at the end of the journey is no better or no worse----Any ideas please guys?

One thing more after a straight 9 hour return drive I can honestly state it was the most comfortable drive ever.

What a great vehicle.-
i think Ford paid u to put up some junk stuff like this
Looking to save up for a used car. Any savings plans?
I'm a high school student about to go into college in the next year or so. I already have what my dad handed down to me, it's a '96 Ford Explorer. She's held up great, but the odometer went out at 168,000+ miles a few years ago and hasn't functioned since. I'd be willing to say that it's at 200k+ now, so it's probably not too long before it dies.

Anyways, I have two part time jobs and school. I was wondering what a good strategy would be to save up money for a car I want. My price range is roughly $4,000-$8,000 max. I looked up some local cars on eBay motors and a lot of them are beautiful. I just want something small, older, and classy. To be totally honest I'm looking at some Mercedes.

Basically I want to know what the best way to save that money up is (It's pretty much a given that I have to put aside $50 for gas every two weeks give or take). I also have been getting the shaft as far as hours go at my current job (I technically only have one job now, my soon to be 'primary' job at Target starts in a week).

I'm not so sure about taking out a loan at my age. Also, is it a bad idea to get an older car with say under 75k miles for said price range? I believe that if you can find it, and you have seen the car in person and seen it in action then age probably doesn't matter so long as it works. I just need something that can get 20+ MPG, I get about 14-16 MPG with my Explorer.
Mercedes aren't easy to work on yourself and the parts a re bit pricey. Insurance is gonna high for you cause your still a teenager. That wont drop any to your advantage until at least 25. If the car is historical the insurance will also be higher. so watch the cars that are over 25 years old.
Are automotive editors misinforming the public regarding the quality level of American vehicles?
Below, is an actual letter to the editor of a local newspaper in response to the editor's obvious biased views on American vehicles in general.

Editor:

As I watch the coverage of the fate of the U.S. auto industry, one alarming and frustrating fact hits me right between the eyes. The fate of our nation's economic survival is in the hands of some congressmen who are completely out of touch and act without knowledge of an industry that affects almost every pe rson in our nation. The same lack of knowledge is shared with many journalists whom are irresponsible when influencing the opinion of millions of viewers.

Sen. Rich ard Shelby of Alabama has doomed the industry, calling it a dinosaur. No Mr. Shelby, you are the dinosaur, with ideas stuck in the '70s, '80s and '90s. You and the uninformed journalist and senators that hold onto myths that are not relevant in today's world.

When you say that the Big Three build vehicles nobody wants to buy, you must have overlooked that GM outsold Toyota by about 1.2 million vehicles in the U.S. and Ford outsold Honda by 850,000 and Nissan by 1.2 million in the U.S. GM was the world's No. 1 automaker beating Toyota by 3,000 units.

When you claim inferior quality comes from the Big Three, did you realize that Chevy makes the Malibu and Ford makes the Fusion that were both rated over the Camry and Accord by J.D. Power independent survey on initial quality? Did you bother to read the Consumer Report that rated Ford on par with good Japanese automakers.

Did you realize Big Three's gas guzzlers include the 33 mpg Malibu that beats the Accord. And for '09 Ford introduces the Hybrid Fusion whose 39 mpg is the best midsize, beating the Camry Hybrid. Ford's Focus beats the Corolla and Chevy's Cobalt beats the Civic.

When you ask how many times are we going to bail them out you must be referring to 1980. The only Big Three bailout was Chrysler, who paid back $1 billion, plus interest. GM and Ford have never received government aid.

When you criticize the Big Three for building so many pickups, surely you've noticed the attempts Toyota and Nissan have made spending billions to try to get a piece of that pie. Perhaps it bothers you that for 31 straight years Ford's F-Series has been the best selling vehicle. Ford and GM have dominated this market and when you see the new '09 F-150 you'll agree this won't change soon.

Did you realize that both GM and Ford offer more hybrid models than Nissan or Honda. Between 2005 and 2007, Ford alone has invested more than $22 billio n in research and development of technologies such as Eco Boost, flex fuel, clean diesel, hybrids, plug in hybrids and hydrogen cars.

It's 2008 and the quality of the vehicles coming out of Detroit are once again the best in the world.
Perhaps Sen. Shelby isn't really that blind. Maybe he realizes the quality shift to American. Maybe it's the fact that his state of Alabama has given so much to land factories from Honda, Hyundai and Mercedes Benz that he is more concerned about their continued growth than he is about the people of our country. Sen. Shelby's disdain for "government subsidies" is very hypocritical. In the early '90s he was the driving force behind a $253 million incentive package to Mercedes. Pl us, Alabama agreed to purchase 2,500 vehicles from Mercedes. While the bridge loan the Big Three is requesting will be paid back, Alabama 's $180,000-plus per job was pure incentive. Sen. Shelby, not only are you out of touch, you are a self-serving hypocrite, who is prepared to ruin our nation because of lack of knowledge and lack of due diligence in making your opinions and decisions.

After 9/11, the Detroit Three and Harley Davidson gave $40 million-plus emergency vehicles to the recovery efforts. What was given to the 9/11 relief effort by the Asian and European Auto Manufactures? $0 Nada. Zip!

We live in a world of free trade, world economy and we have not been able to produce products as cost efficiently. While the gov ernments of other auto producing nations subsidize their automakers, our government may be ready to force its demise. While our automakers have paid union wages, benefits and legacy debt, our Asian competitors employ cheap labor. We are at an extreme disadvantage in production cost. Although many UAW concessions begin in 2010, many lawmakers think it's not enough.

Some point the blame to corporate management. I would like to speak of Ford Motor Co. The company has streamlined by reducing our workforce by 51,000 since 2005, closing 17 plants and cutting expenses. Product and future product is excellent and the company is focused on one Ford. This is a company poised for success. Ford product quality and corporate management have improved light years since the nightmare of Jacques Nasser. Thank you Alan Mulally and the best auto company management team in the business.
Hey Junior, Mr. UAW, how many non-union contractors have you treated worse than terrorists? I have worked in Big 3 plants for over 10 years as a contractor. I want the Big 3 to survive and believe they build good vehicles. But it is the elitist union members who treat non-union workers as scum that makes me want the Big 3 to fail. You reap what you sow...
