Jockstraps is there an age to start and stop?
Since I was 13 I've worn jock straps I do a lot of sport I have all kinds of jockstraps and colours. I'm curious is there an age to stop? Were any male nudity scenes cut out or sped up in new DVD releases of the orig. A Nightmare on Elm Street 2?
I saw an older DVD release of the original A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge from a boxset of the origninal franchise. The movie has a lot of homoerotica in it from what I've read online and observed. The scene where Jesse's gym pants were pulled down at school on the field by Grady revealed his bare buttocks and jockstrap showed him standing straight up for a few seconds but when I saw a clip of this scene from a website online the part of him standing seem to be sort of cut or sped up and where you got to see less time of the buttocks showing. There was also a nude scene in the movie where the coach was showering and it showed the coach's bare backside and Jesse was showering in a nearby showerroom but it did not show below Jesse's waist or lower back. In a clip I saw of an interview about the movie it showed photos of Jesse in that scene from the back completely nude. Since people are more homophobic today in some aspects that they were not in the 80's I wondered if new releases and DVD releases of many movies including this one were censored. The DVD release of the 1998 remake of Psycho is only in widescreen and that version of it completely cuts off Sam Loomis's buttocks (which was in the theatrical version) at the beginning of the movie when he is opening the curtain in the hotel room. I also own of the full screen VHS version of that movie which does not cut out that part of the scene. I'm keeping the VHS for that reason. Wasn't there also a nude scene in Top Gun that was cut out in the DVD version? I can swear as a boy I can remember seeing some scene where two men are talking and in the distance there is a lockerroom with one or two men where their backsides show and they are drying off with towels. Top Gun used to be rated R and now it's PG. Was it taken out to give a PG rating or some other reason? Is it just my imagination or is male nudity being censored and not made in movies because the new generation of males may be more offended than the older ones? One time on the Syfy channel they showed the movie Crocodile which showed a woman mooning at the beginning and later a scene where a man or group of men were mooning and splashing around in the water. When they showed it again on that channel they showed the woman mooning but cut out the scene of the man or men mooning completely. I still think more than one man mooned and it was a longer scene the first time I saw it on TV but on DVD it just shows one of them mooning very quickly. Maybe it's deja vu, I don't know. It seems that in the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise they are more comfortable with male nudity than in other horror movies such as Halloween and Friday the 13th although those have shown a small amount of male nudity. I've only seen Elm Street 1-4 and Freddy vs. Jason. Freddy vs. Jason has a long scene of a male mooning and one sexual scene with a male butt crack. Piranha 3-D was like Girls Gone Wild with only one male mooning scene and super amounts of full female nudity. I wish they could have thrown the female and gay community more than a crumb in that movie.
